DAY 1 | Lima

HOTEL NIGHT 1
Arrive at Lima Airport. A transportation service and a guide will pick you up from the airport at the scheduled
time to transfer you to your hotel in Lima. The Peruvian capital is a modern metropolis full of history, currently
undergoing an exciting process of cultural and economic changes.

Many things to see and do and shops to stock up on trip supplies, great restaurants, Miraflores artist area, shopping centers, colonial town squares, beaches and more

DAY 2 | Lima – Madre de Dios 1

HOTEL NIGHT 2
Transfer from the hotel to the airport. A representative will assist you along the way.
Flight to Puerto Maldonado
The lodge will pick you up from the airport and after a short stop at the offices, you will board a boat that will take you to the Corto Maltés Lodge during a 40-minute trip.
After enjoying a welcome drink and getting installed in your bungalow, you will have lunch and then you will
hike to see a great variety of medicinal plants, tropical trees and insects. You will go to the scenic viewpoint before dusk to watch the toucans, and you will take a nighttime tour after the sunset to look
for caimans.

DAY 4 | Madre de Dios 3

After a 20 minute boat trip down the river, we arrive at the chacra, a local farm owned by a typical family of the agricultural region, where domestic plants are carefully cultivated. Taste different tropical
fruits of the season and other domestic products (cacao, banana, cocona, breadfruit, noni, manioc, lime). Next
we are received by a native family, who will show us some of their customs and demonstrate their main
activities, that is fishing, hunting and handicraft, passed on by their ancestors from various indigenous tribes of
the Rainforest. The visit ends with
an outdoor lunch, being an unique experience, both for the family and their guests. Return to Corto Maltes.
Finally, dinner will be served.

DAY 5 | Madre de Dios – Cusco

HOTEL NIGHT 5
Wake up at 5:30 am for some coffee or tea before leaving for a 20 minutes’ walk to the clay lick, where you
will have the possibility to observe 3 to 5 types of parrots.  After breakfast, head to the city of Puerto Maldonado for the check-in and registration of your respective flights. Flight to Cusco
Enjoy a comfortable transfer from Cusco Airport to your hotel. A representative will meet and greet you, and
then transfer you to the selected hotel in Cusco.

DAY 7 | Machu Picchu – Cusco

HOTEL NIGHT 7
After having breakfast today, you’ll make a visit to Machu Picchu and visit any of the attractions that the citadel has in store. You may visit the Intipunku, the Sun gate; the last stop before entering Machu Picchu, if the Inca trail is followed from Ollantaytambo. The Sun rises everyday through this gate if it is observed from the most important buildings of the citadel.
In the afternoon, you will go the Aguas Calientes train station to take your train back to Cusco City.

DAY 8 | Cusco

A transportation service and a guide will be at your disposal to visit some city attractions for a half day (3
hours). Many things to see an do including the Chocolate Museo, markets, Pisac town, colonial churches, museums, ruins, balcony restaurants, incan sites, more markets, parades and festivals
